The CEO’s job is to build and ensure the continuity of a business. And there are top 5 traits common to all CEOs.
1. CEOs are committed to their vision
People don’t fail for lack of vision; they fail for lack of commitment to it. CEOs are passionate about their vision. Resolve today to be committed to your vision.
2. CEOs are creative people
Creativity comes from learning. In other words, CEOs like knowledge. They have personal libraries in their homes. They attend seminars and conferences to enrich themselves. You can’t go far in business if you are allergic to reading.
3. CEOs value relationships
The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people. This is important because you need to service your customers and manage your employees to keep your business.
4. CEOs are risk takers
Risk taking is part of business and CEOs know how to take calculated risk. To win without risk is to triumph without glory.
5. CEOs are not overtaken by anxiety
Anxiety is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained. CEOs resist anxiety by: taking time off from work, sporting, dancing, holidaying, etc.
